Kim began her career as a CPA where several of her clients were custom home builders, sparking her interest in real estate. She then worked with her husband for a Real Estate Investment trust before starting a real estate development company, Tri Homes Today. They currently rehab and construct properties in Chicago.

Wanting to pursue a full-time career in real estate, Kim obtained her license in 2015 and became passionate about helping her clients find a place to call home. She believes that a property should make a great home and an excellent investment for the future.

With a keen eye for design, she created an interior design company, Studio MAK, in 2020. This focus on design allows her to see a vision of what a property could be and helps her clients build equity in their new home through thoughtful renovations.

Ashley is a critical part of MAK Residential that keeps the team running efficiently. She oversees the entire home buying or selling process, ensuring that each step is completed correctly and on time. As a marketing expert in the real estate industry, she also drives our advertising and branding efforts.

With a passion for design, Ashley partnered with Kim at Studio MAK and helps our listings stand out from the crowd through intelligent, beautiful staging and/or minor renovations. She integrates her love of design into every role she plays with MAK Residential.

David grew up in western Michigan near Grand Rapids and always had an eye for homes. When he was young, he would spend hours sketching out elaborate homes and floor plans to match. After graduating from Michigan State in 2017, he made Chicago his new home. After a few years and a global pandemic, he found his way back to his love of homes and real estate.

David began working with Compass after obtaining his license in 2020. Because he knows the importance of finding a “home” and all the memories you’ll make there, he’s patient and thoughtful when helping his clients find a home that best fits them. David is excellent at identifying needs, listening to your concerns, and his no-pressure approach makes the process fun for you.
